Section 35
Returning undeliverable postal items sent to the return letter box
: (1) According to sub-section (3) of section 34, the postal items sent to the return letter box shall be returned as follows:-
(a) if possible re-send by post to the addressee or
(b) If it cannot be sent according to that, the concerned employee of that branch will secretly open the postal item and check the name and address of the sender and close it again.
(2) If the name and address of the sender is found, the postal item will be sent back to the destination post office without charging any additional fee or duty or with the fee or duty prescribed by the Government of Nepal.
